Play freely and use the quizzes in classrooms. The facts are the record’s; the implementation is this site’s.
Use
The quizzes are free to play and free to use in teaching, without an account and without
asking. Historical facts belong to everyone; the question bank, the drawings and the writing
are this site’s.
Accuracy
The dataset is verified as described on the About page, and history is written by people:
conventions differ at the margins and scholarship moves. Where a fact is contested the site
avoids it rather than scoring it. Corrections through the contact page are welcome and get
applied to the dataset, which fixes every quiz at once.
No warranty
The site is tested and it is still software. A page with JavaScript off shows its writing
and no quiz. Nothing here should be your only source for anything that matters beyond a quiz
score.
