Seven questions on one war
This quiz stays inside a single window, 1775 to 1783, and asks seven questions about the American Revolution. The Declaration is in it. So is the alliance with France, and so is Yorktown. Those are the territories; the particulars the quiz wants — years, places, the people involved — remain inside the questions, and this page will not hand any of them to you in advance. Seven questions is a short run, which is the point: the span of the war fits comfortably in one sitting, and a wrong answer costs you nothing but the retry.
How the answers were verified
The answer key was not written once and trusted. Two authors compiled the same historical dataset independently — 149 catalog facts in all, alongside a full record of the US presidencies — and their versions were compared key by key before any question existed. The catalog matched on all 149 facts. Any record the two could not agree on was dropped, and no question was ever generated from it. What reached this page is only what both authors confirmed, each without seeing the other’s work.
